Do you need ‘rescuing?’

“He RESCUED me because He DELIGHTED in me” (2 Samuel 22:20, Psalm 18:19).

Dictionary definition of delight: a high degree of gratification or pleasure.

Who brings God delight? What brings God delight?

“The blameless in their walk are His delight” (Proverbs 11:20).

“A just weight is His delight“ (Proverbs 11:1).

“The prayer of the upright is His delight“ (Proverbs 15:8).

“He delights in a contrite heart” (Psalm 51:16,17).

“He delights in unchanging love” (Micah 7:18).

“He delights in obedience” (1 Samuel 15:22).

“I delight in loyalty” (Hosea 6:6).

“You delight in uprightness” (1 Chronicles 29:17).

“He delights in mercy (Micah 7:18).

“Those who deal faithfully are his delight“ (1 Chronicles 29:17).

“I am the Lord who exercises loving-kindness, justice, and righteousness for I delight in these things” (Jeremiah 9:24).

 “He takes no delight in fools” (Ecclesiastes 5:4).
